Coffin Smoother
Named after the curved shape of the body, this plane will smooth most timbers with authority. The combination of thick iron and extremely tight mouth give excellent performance when planing difficult woods. The traditional styling make for a handsome plane and it is extremely comfortable to use.
The iron is 50mm wide, 4mm thick O1 high carbon steel and is pitched is 55 degrees.
