If you would like to order a plane or something else from our range of tools please contact us initially via the email address below.

Phil will reply to all emails but bear in mind he's in the workshop most of the time filling orders so replies will come at the end of the day most likely.

All planes are made by hand, one at a time. That means we can customise your plane (i.e. different bedding angle, longer/shorter length, different timber choice) usually at no extra cost. We can also stamp your initials into the front of your plane in the time honoured tradition - again, no extra cost. Just ask for this option when ordering. We do our utmost to deliver orders on time but, as we are a small cottage industry business, outside influences can sometimes throw a spanner in the works - we will always keep you informed of the progress of your plane. Quality cannot be rushed!

We spend a lot of time sourcing and seasoning quality timbers for our tools - as wood is a natural material there is obviously variation in colour, texture and density between different boards making each plane unique.

  To confirm an order a 25% non-refundable deposit will be necessary, the remainder (plus shipping) to be paid upon completion. Payment methods are credit card, cheque or Paypal - other methods by arrangement. Please make cheques payable to “Philip Edwards”
